About Us

North Central Counties Consortium (NCCC) was formed under a Joint Powers Agreement to administer the federally funded Workforce Investment Act (WIA) in the Counties of Colusa, Glenn, Sutter and Yuba. NCCC is governed by a four-member Governing Board composed of one member of the Board of Supervisors from each member county. The Governing Board provides oversight and administration of the Consoritum's federal WIA funds and governance of NCCC's oganizational activities.

NCCC's Workforce Investment Board is comprised of a majority of business leaders and includes representatives of labor organizations, local educational entities, economic development agencies, community based organizations and key One Stop partners. The WIB, in coordination with NCCC's Governing Board, is responsible for the planning, policy development, oversight and evaluation of the Consortium's workforce development system.

NCCC's Boards are dedicated to supporting economic vitality in NCCC's communities by assuring that the highest level of workforce development services are provided to local businesses and job seekers through a comprehensive One Stop system.
