Workforce Investment Board
(Appointed by Chief Elected Officials)
North Central Counties Consortium (NCCC) is currently recruiting membership for the local Workforce Investment Board (WIB). The following membership vacancies are open for appointment:

• One (1) seat to represent organized labor in the consortium.
|
|
• One (1) seat to represent Veterans’ Workforce Investment programs in the consortium.
|
|
• One (1) seat to represent Title V Older Americans Act programs in the consortium.
|
|
• One (1) seat to represent private businesses in Colusa County.
|
|
• One (1) seat to represent private businesses in Glenn County.
|
|
• Two (2) seats to represent private businesses in Lake County.
|
|
• One (1) seat to represent private businesses in Sutter County.
|
Business Representatives. Representatives of business in the local area must be owners of businesses, chief executives or operating officers of businesses, and other business executives or employers with optimum policymaking or hiring authority. Individuals must be appointed from among individuals nominated by local business organizations and business trade associations.
Other Representatives. Representatives must be individuals with optimum policymaking authority within the organizations, agencies or entities and must be nominated by an interested organization or entity.

COMPENSATION:
|
$100/per meeting
|
|
TERM OF APPOINTMENT:
|
Four year term as described in the WIB/Governing Board Agreement.
|
